ABOUT THE COMPETITION
PRESENTATION
Latte art judged by the appearance, creativity, presentation and procedure.
Competitors choose their own ratio on their presented drinks.
PRODUCTS
Competition matcha from Hakone Coffee/Spill The Tea and Oatly Oat Drink Barista Edition.
Own equipment can be used, such as chasen (bamboo whisk) and matcha bowl.
Competition cups used for presentation of Matcha Latte Art is provided by Hakone Coffee for the competition. Measurements 300ml and cup opening of 9 cm.

1 – Free pour
2 – Design (optional technique)
3 – Finals
1. FREE POUR (10 minutes)
Optional Latte Art
10 minutes – as many tries as one wishes
Anonymous assessment of the judges.
2 . DESIGN (10 minutes)
Pictures or drawing on which latte art is attempted.
Re-create the design as pictured in front of the judges.
3. FINALS
The best from the 2 previous rounds.
5 minutes preparation time. 10 minutes competition time.
2 attempts each on ”Free Pour” and “Design”.
